The Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) has announced 75 fully-funded scholarships for Pakistani students for the 2026–27 academic year. This initiative is part of China’s efforts to strengthen educational cooperation with Pakistan.
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan will serve as the official nominating body, responsible for shortlisting eligible candidates for the program.
The Chinese Government Scholarship Program allows international students to pursue Undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD degrees across various academic disciplines. Where required, a one-year Chinese language preparatory course is also provided.

The preparatory year is compulsory for undergraduate students unless they hold a valid HSK Level 3 certificate (valid for two years). Master’s and PhD programs are available in both Chinese- and English-taught formats.
