Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a significant decrease on Tuesday, reflecting the impact of falling rates in the international market, as the price of 24-karat gold per tola declined by over Rs3,000 in a single day.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs3,500 to reach Rs420,362, while the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs3,000 to Rs360,392.

This decline came a day after prices had risen on Monday, following an increase of Rs1,300 per tola to Rs423,862 in response to higher international rates.
Earlier, the Association had reported that Monday’s rise reflected an upward trend in the global market, where the per ounce price of gold increased by $13 to $4,015, including a $20 premium. Silver prices had also seen an uptick at that time, with the per tola rate rising by Rs25 to Rs5,152.
