The actor, who is currently 89 and will turn 90 on December 8, 2025, was taken to the hospital on Friday.
A source told TV9 Bharatvarsh, “He’s turning 90, and age-related health issues are there. He’s been admitted for a few tests, but there’s nothing serious, as some reports are claiming.”
The actor’s team and family sources have reassured fans that he is doing fine and there is no cause for grave concern. This is a precautionary visit, and he is expected to be discharged soon after the necessary tests are completed.
Earlier, reports claiming the situation is critical have been dismissed by insiders. He is not in the ICU, nor is he in any immediate danger.

The expectation is that he will be discharged shortly after the test results are reviewed by his doctors.
While there have been no official public statements from his sons, Sunny and Bobby Deol, they are reportedly keeping close tabs on their father’s condition.
The overall sentiment is that the media attention is a result of his celebrity status, and the health issue itself is common for a person of his age.
Family sources continue to assure the public that there is nothing serious to worry about, despite widespread speculation online.
