Four terrorists, including a commander of Fitna Alkhwaraj, were killed as Pakistani forces foiled an infiltration bid at the Pak-Afghan border in Bajaur, ISPR said on Thursday.
The military media wing, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), stated that the action was taken on the night between 29 and 30 October following timely intelligence-based information received about the infiltration bid by the terrorists.
Four terrorists, including high-value target Fitna Alkhwaraj commander Amjad Deroji, alias Mufti Mazahim, were killed in an operation conducted by Pakistani forces. Amjad, the deputy of Noor Wali, head of the terrorist group, was involved in several terrorist attacks in Pakistan. Pakistan had announced a Rs 5 million reward for information leading to Amjad’s capture, ISPR added.
“Senior TTP commander Qari Amjad Deroji, also known as Mufti Muzahim and Mufti Hazrat, was killed in a security forces operation last night in Bajaur. The US State Dept. had designated him as a global terrorist in 2022; he remained the TTP Naib Amir and a Rehbari Shoora member,” ISPR concluded.
