Kim Kardashian recently celebrated her 45th birthday (on October 21, 2025) in Paris by wearing a historic gold archival Givenchy couture dress.
The ensemble was not a “suit,” but a dress featuring an asymmetrical gold corset paired with a flowing white tulle skirt and gold embellishments.
The look is from Alexander McQueen’s Spring-Summer 1997 haute couture collection for Givenchy, titled “Search for the Golden Fleece,” which was his controversial debut for the French fashion house.

The dress was originally modeled on the runway by supermodel Naomi Campbell.
The look channeled a “Grecian goddess” and featured a striking molten gold corset.
Kardashian wore the vintage piece for her birthday festivities, which included a night out at the famous Crazy Horse cabaret club in Paris, after attending a premiere event for her new series, All’s Fair.
This Givenchy dress was the second vintage look Kardashian wore that day in Paris. Earlier, for the premiere of her new Hulu legal drama series All’s Fair, she wore a vintage baby blue John Galliano for Dior satin gown from the Spring/Summer 2000 collection.

Her choice to wear significant archival pieces for public events has been a recurring theme in her recent public appearances.
For her 44th birthday in 2024, Kardashian wore a sheer, nude “birthday suit” dress by Diesel.
