Pakistani security forces gunned down 34 terrorists of Fitna Alkhwarij during different Intelligence-Based Operations (IBOs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, ISPR said on Thursday.
Eighteen terrorists were killed in the Speen Wam area of North Waziristan, 8 were killed in South Waziristan, while the remaining 8 were gunned down in Bannu, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) added. All these IBOs were conducted between 13 to 15 October.
The military’s media wing added that Pakistan’s security forces remain fully committed to eradicating India-sponsored terrorism in line with the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam.”
Tensions at the Durand Line increased in recent days after the Afghan Taliban and Khawarij attacked Pakistani posts, resulting in a strong response from the security forces.
