Gold prices continued to surge in the Pakistani market, in line with a historical increase in the prices of the yellow metal in the global market.

As per the data shared by the All Pakistan Sarafa Jems and Jewelers Association, the price of 24 karat gold surged by Rs 5800 per tola to Rs 440,900 on Wednesday.
Similarly, the price of 10grams of 24 karat gold increased by Rs 4972 to Rs 378000, while the price of 10grams of 22 karat gold surged by Rs 4558 to Rs 346512. On the global front, the price of the yellow metal reached $4198 per ounce after a hike of $58 on Wednesday.
Silver prices also surged in both the local and international markets. In Pakistan, the price of 24 karat silver surged by Rs 90 per tola to Rs 5337, while the price of 10grams of 24 karat silver up by Rs 77 to Rs 4575.
In the international market, silver prices jumped to $52.50 per ounce after an increase of $0.90.
