Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned Afghanistan’s provocations in Pakistan’s border areas and paid tribute to the Pakistan Army for its strong retaliatory action.
In his statement, the Prime Minister said that he is proud of the professional competence of the Pakistan Armed Forces. Under the bold leadership of the Field Marshal, the Pakistan Army gave a strong response to Afghanistan, destroying several Afghan posts and forcing them to retreat.
Shehbaz Sharif stated that there will be no compromise on Pakistan’s defense and every act of provocation will be met with a strong and effective response.
He added that Pakistan’s defense is in strong hands; we know well how to defend every inch of the country. The Pakistan Army has always given a crushing reply to every form of external aggression, and the entire nation stands with Pakistan’s security forces.
The Prime Minister stated that terrorist organizations are being supported by elements present in Afghanistan. Pakistan has repeatedly shared information with Afghanistan about Fitna-tul-Khawarij and Fitna-tul-Hindustan present there. Information was also shared about those carrying out actions against Pakistan from Afghan soil. He expressed hope that the Afghan government will ensure its soil is not used against Pakistan.
