Brigadier Rashid Naseer has won the defamation case against YouTuber Adil Raja in the London High Court. The court has imposed a fine of £50,000 on the YouTuber, as reported by national media.
According to details, the well-known YouTuber Adil Raja, who is particularly known for spreading propaganda against Brigadier (Retd) Rashid Naseer and several other personalities, will have to pay approximately Rs.130 million as compensation and court expenses. According to the High Court judge, Adil Raja defamed Rashid Naseer and made false and baseless allegations.
The court has ordered YouTuber Adil Raja to publish the summary of the court’s decision on all his social media platforms, including YouTube. Adil Raja had published defamatory material against Rashid Naseer on social media platforms.
Brigadier (Retd) Rashid Naseer had approached the British High Court against the defamatory content. The court decided the case against Adil Raja and ordered him to pay £50,000 as damages to Brigadier Rashid Naseer.
The court has also ordered Adil Raja to pay around £300,000 in court expenses. The court directed Adil Raja to announce on his social media platforms that Brigadier Rashid Naseer has won the case.
