American singer and global pop icon Taylor Swift has explicitly denied rumors that she will quit making music after marrying fiancé Travis Kelce, calling the speculation “shockingly offensive”.
During a recent interview on BBC Radio 2, she addressed the online chatter that her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, would be her last before stepping away to get married and have children.
During the interview, the pop star firmly dismissed the notion:
When asked by host Scott Mills if her new record was her last, Swift replied, “What? No”.
She added, “That’s a shockingly offensive thing to say… It’s not why people get married, so that they can quit their job”.

In the same interview, Swift drew a parallel between her and Kelce’s jobs, pointing out that they both perform in NFL stadiums for over three hours, just under different names.
