Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has praised Pakistan’s armed forces for achieving a historic victory in Operation Bunyan‑e‑Marsoos.
She said the success was due to Field Marshal Asim Munir’s exceptional strategy. She expressed pride in the professionalism of the military.
Speaking to participants of the National Security and War Course in Lahore, she said Punjab has never seen floods of such magnitude before. She added that the provincial government is working day and night to help flood victims.
Maryam Nawaz stated that over 2.5 million people were safely relocated from flood-affected areas. She said flood victims were provided with three meals a day during the crisis.
She emphasized that challenges can only be overcome through unity and cooperation. She described Pakistan as a strategically important country that faces both internal and external challenges. She affirmed that the welfare of the people is her top priority.
The Chief Minister also stressed the importance of good governance, correct policies, and hard work.
She said good governance is essential to solving public problems. Maryam Nawaz pledged to serve the people selflessly, without discrimination.
