Apple’s new iPhone 17 series was officially launched in Pakistan, and now these PTA-approved mobile sets are available in the country.
Apple’s sole authorized distributor in the country, Mercantile, has confirmed that all the new iPhone models are now available across its partner network.
Most importantly, all these phones are PTA-approved, and customers will not need to pay a separate registration fee.
This new series includes the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the latest ultra-slim model, iPhone Air.
According to Mercantile, all these devices will be available with official warranty and after-sales service, so that buyers can get complete satisfaction after the purchase.
According to the price announcement, the 256 GB model of the iPhone 17 will be available for Rs 399,000 and the 512 GB version for Rs 482,500.
The iPhone 17 Pro models are priced at Rs 520,500 for 256GB, Rs 603,500 for 512GB, and Rs 686,500 for 1TB.
The iPhone 17 Pro Max prices start at Rs 565,000 and go up to Rs 898,500 for the 2TB model. Similarly, the 256GB model of the iPhone Air is available for Rs 480,000, the 512GB for Rs 563,000, and the 1TB model for Rs 646,500.
The series has come out with several new features in terms of design and performance. All models include Ceramic Shield 2 protection, USB-C port, and IP68 water resistance.
Screen sizes range from 6.3 inches on the iPhone 17 and 17 Pro to 6.9 inches on the Pro Max, with adaptive refresh rates from 1 to 120 Hz and 460 pixels per inch density.
These models feature the powerful A19 Bionic and A19 Pro chips that deliver higher performance, improved cooling, and advanced GPU capabilities.
For photography and videography enthusiasts, the Pro models feature telephoto lenses and 4K video recording (up to 120 fps), while all models feature an 18-megapixel front camera with a center stage feature.
Battery life has also been improved, reaching 27 hours on the iPhone Air and 39 hours on the iPhone 17 Pro Max. All models support fast charging and MagSafe wireless charging.
In addition, e-SIM facility, LiDAR sensors in Pro models, and improved 5G connectivity for major networks in Pakistan have also been provided.
