Gold prices continued the upward trend in both the local and International markets on Tuesday, as in Pakistan, the price of per tola gold increased by Rs3178.
According to data shared by the All Pakistan Sarafa Jems and Jewelers Association, the price of 24 karat gold increased by Rs 3178 to Rs 406768 per tola, and the cost of 10 grams of 24 karat gold rose by Rs 2725 to Rs 348746.
Similarly, the price of 10grams of 22 karat gold increased by Rs 9498 to Rs 319695. On the global front, the price of the yellow metal also increased by $37 per ounce to $3855.
Meanwhile, contrary to gold, the silver prices declined both in the local and international markets. In Pakistan, the price of 24 karat silver decreased by Rs 16 to Rs 4776 per tola, while the price of 10grams of silver decreased by Rs 14 to Rs 4094.
In the international market, the price of silver declined by $0.16 to $46.77 per ounce, the data shared by the association stated.
