The medical report of the injured she-camel, who suffered a broken jaw and a severed leg by culprits in Sukkur, has come to light, according to which the operation was successful and the jawbone has been fixed.
According to details, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has received the medical report of the injured she-camel, which was sent by Secretary Livestock Kazim Jatoi.
The medical report stated that the successful operation of the injured she-camel Chandni has been completed, her jawbone has been fixed while the right hind leg was amputated through surgery.
The report mentioned that livestock specialist doctors completed the three-hour-long operation without blood loss. The surgery was performed by Dr. Javed Khoso, Dr. Zulfiqar Otho, and Dr. Ali Gopan.
The Secretary Livestock briefed that the she-camel is now out of danger and conscious, and the medical team’s focus is now on recovery and monitoring.
Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah directed to continue the best treatment for the she-camel and said that experts should be consulted for fitting an artificial leg.
On 20th September 2025, the incident of cutting the she-camel’s leg occurred in Saleh Pat area of Sukkur, after which it was shifted to the Animal Center for medical aid.
Later, a medical board was formed for treatment and to make her walk again, with Dr. Gordhan Das appointed as the chairman.
DG Livestock Dr. Hizbullah Bhutto also visited the CDRS Shelter Home, where he said that he reviewed the X-rays of the she-camel and decided to form a medical board.
