Pakistan’s left-handed batsman Saim Ayub once again failed in the ongoing Asia Cup T20 match and was dismissed for zero runs against Bangladesh.
This marks Saim Ayub’s fourth duck in the tournament and sixth duck in the year 2025, with which he has equaled an unfortunate world record in T20 international cricket.
Saim Ayub’s latest dismissal for zero brings him level with Zimbabwe’s Richard Ngarava, who recorded six ducks in 2024.

This unwanted milestone highlights just how difficult the year 2025 has been for the young Pakistani batsman. Although Saim Ayub has shown glimpses of his talent in the past, he has consistently failed to play big innings, raising concerns among both fans and cricket analysts.
