Good news has arrived for passengers traveling from Pakistan to the United Kingdom, as the UK’s Virgin Atlantic airline has announced the resumption of its air operation to Pakistan.
According to a report citing sources, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has granted the airline permission for flights. Virgin Atlantic will resume flights from London to Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore starting from October. The airline will link its air operation to Pakistan via Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
It should be remembered that Virgin Atlantic had suspended its flights to Pakistan in 2023; however, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has once again granted permission for the operation. The announcement of the resumption of the British airline’s air operation will improve travel facilities between the United Kingdom and Pakistan.
It should be noted that last year, the airline decided to suspend its flights from London Heathrow to Lahore and Islamabad during its network review.
