The government has finalized a comprehensive plan to provide Re-gasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) connections to domestic consumers in order to meet the country’s increasing energy demand.
This development emerged during a meeting held on Friday under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Petroleum, Ali Pervaiz Malik, in which the rollout plan for providing RLNG connections to domestic consumers was reviewed.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary Petroleum, Additional Secretary, Director General Gas, representatives of OGRA, and the Managing Directors of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL).
The statement said that the application process for these connections will be made significantly easier to ensure public convenience and transparency. Consumers will be able to apply not only through traditional methods at local offices, but also online via the official websites and mobile applications of the Sui companies.
Documents required with application
- Completely Filled-in Application Form.
- Copy of CNIC of Applicant.
- Approved Plan / Letter, Drawing & Completion Plan.
- Attested copy of property / ownership documents & in case of tenant, tenancy agreement along with NOC of landlord /landlady.
- Original NOC from Society / relevant authority (if applicable).
- Affidavit / Undertaking on Rs. 100/- Stamp Paper.
- Duly Filled-in RLNG Contract Form.

Note: SSGCL has not authorize any contractor to either collect or submit any application or payment on behalf of applicant in SSGCL. Applicants may submit their applications directly in the respective SSGCL Offices along with complete documents as mentioned above.
