It is noteworthy that Pakistan received $3.1 billion in remittances from overseas workers in August 2025, according to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Friday.
This figure marks a 7% increase compared to $2.9 billion sent in August of the previous year. However, remittances declined slightly by 2% from July 2025, when the amount stood at $3.2 billion.
