The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) continued its upward trajectory on Tuesday, buoyed by strong corporate earnings that reinforced investor confidence and fueled active participation.
The benchmark KSE-100 Index climbed 476.22 points, or 0.31%, to close at a new record high of 156,563.52.
This follows Monday’s robust performance, when the KSE-100 kicked off the week with a sharp rally, surging 1,810 points (1.17%) to end the session at 156,087.31 — its highest-ever closing level at the time.
Adding to the positive market momentum, the Pakistani rupee extended its winning streak against the US dollar in the interbank market.
On Tuesday, the local currency edged up by Re0.01 to settle at 281.61 — marking its 23rd consecutive session of appreciation.
