Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Friday, mirroring gains in the international market. In the local market, the price of gold rose by Rs1,200 per tola, reaching Rs377,900.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10 grams of gold also went up by Rs1,029, closing at Rs323,988.
A day earlier, on Thursday, gold prices had remained stable at Rs376,700 after hitting a record high.

Internationally, gold prices also edged higher. The global rate stood at $3,552 per ounce (including a $20 premium), reflecting a gain of $12, as reported by APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the local market remained unchanged at Rs4,315 per tola.
