Punjab Police’s Crime Control Department (CCD) arrested popular TikToker Hakeem Shehzad on Friday at his residence in Shujabad, near Multan, following the circulation of a controversial video on social media.
A video of Hakeem Shehzad, also known as Loha Paar, is going viral on social media, in which he is seen speaking about being summoned by the Multan police.
In the video, Hakeem Shehzad explains that he recently arranged a mujra (dance performance) at his wedding and recorded a video of it, which he then made viral himself.
He shared that during the viral mujra video, he used inappropriate language, which hurt the sentiments of many people.
Hakeem Shehzad Loha Paar said that after his video went viral, the Cyber Crime Department (CCD) of Multan Police summoned him to the station, following which he is now seeking public forgiveness.
He admitted that he should not have made such a video, nor should he have used inappropriate language in it.
He also announced that the money collected during the wedding and mujra in the form of salami (monetary gifts) will be donated to flood victims.
He did not clarify whether a case was filed against him by the police. However, according to social media reports, he was released after being given a conditional pardon.
Hakeem Shehzad Loha Paar has previously made videos with his wife, TikToker Dania Shah Malik, and their controversial videos have often gone viral.
