Moroccan-American rapper French Montana is engaged to Dubai Princess Sheikha Mahra, daughter of Dubai ruler and UAE Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, media reported on Thursday.
They formalized their relationship in June 2025 during Paris Fashion Week. The couple has been seen together frequently since 2024 in places like Dubai and Morocco.
Sheikha Mahra, known for her charitable work and equestrian sports, was previously married and recently divorced before getting engaged to French Montana. The engagement marks a high-profile union between the rapper and the Dubai royal family.
She announced her divorce in July 2024 via a scathing post on Instagram, accusing him of infidelity. “Dear Husband, as you are occupied with other companies, I hereby declare our divorce. Take care, your ex-wife,” Mahra wrote in her post. She shares a 15-month-old daughter with her ex-husband.
French Montana and Sheikha Mahra first sparked dating rumours in October last year, when the Dubai Princess shared photos of her giving the rapper a tour of the United Arab Emirates city. In June 2025, pictures of the two walking hand in hand surfaced online, breaking the internet.
