Saudi Arabia’s low-cost airline Flyadeal has expanded its scheduled operations to Pakistan with the launch of flights to Islamabad and Peshawar.
According to the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), the airline’s inaugural service to Peshawar arrived on Monday at Bacha Khan International Airport (BKIAP). The occasion was marked with a cake-cutting ceremony organized by Menzies RAS in the International Departure Lounge, near the CIP Lounge.
Earlier, on August 24, 2025, Flyadeal commenced its Islamabad service with flight FAD 651/652 from Riyadh. The aircraft landed at Islamabad International Airport ahead of schedule at 6:08 a.m. carrying 65 passengers, where it received a traditional water salute. The return flight departed at 7:33 a.m. with 172 passengers on board.
Flyadeal will now operate one weekly flight between Riyadh and Islamabad, scheduled every Sunday.
In a statement, the PAA welcomed the airline’s expansion into Pakistan’s aviation market, noting that the addition of services to Islamabad and Peshawar will enhance connectivity, improve passenger convenience, and further strengthen ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
This expansion follows Flyadeal’s earlier entry into Pakistan in February 2025, when the carrier launched operations to Karachi with its first flight landing at Jinnah International Airport. The airline currently operates two weekly services to Karachi, with flights originating from both Jeddah and Riyadh.
