In the Pir Goth area of Khairpur, a heart-wrenching incident in the name of honor took place, where a man, with the help of his cousin, shot and killed his sister.
According to the police, the deceased, Savera Lashari, was shot multiple times and died on the spot. This tragic incident has created an atmosphere of fear and panic in the area.
The police stated that evidence has been collected from the crime scene, while both suspects fled after the incident. Law enforcement agencies have launched a search operation to arrest the suspects, and further investigations are ongoing.
Earlier, on July 30, another shocking incident occurred in the suburban area of Karachi, Ghar Phatak, where three members of the same family were brutally killed.
The victims included Abdul Majeed, his wife Sakina, and their six-year-old son Abdul Nabi. According to the police, initial evidence suggests that this murder may also be related to honor-based crimes.
This incident has left the entire area in shock and fear. Rescue officials said that the victims were killed approximately four to five hours before being discovered.
Police sources suspected that the woman’s relatives might be involved in this incident, as the deceased had married on the basis of her own choice, which could have rekindled old family disputes.
