The monsoon rains continue across the country, causing flooding in various areas. In view of the situation, the Railway Department has announced the suspension of several trains.
According to details, train schedules across the country have been severely affected due to the rains, with inbound and outbound trains experiencing delays of several hours.
Railway officials stated that the Karakoram Express has been suspended, and its passengers will be accommodated on the Pak Business and Karachi Express.
The Shah Hussain Express will remain suspended from August 21 to 25, and passengers will be accommodated on other trains and the Green Line Express. The Khushhal Khan Khattak Express will also be suspended for three days.
It is worth noting that due to the rains that started on Tuesday, water has accumulated in various areas of Karachi, causing difficulties for citizens in commuting.
Meanwhile, reports of prolonged electricity outages and load-shedding have emerged in different areas of the city, prompting concerns among residents.
