On the occasion of Independence Day in Lahore, the Punjab government took notice of an immoral gathering, photo shoot, and videos, and a case has been registered.
According to media reports, the Punjab government, after taking notice of the event, registered a case against the group that organized the LGBT event.
After the registration of the case, police arrested several suspects including the main accused, while Lahore police are conducting raids to arrest more suspects.
The government had taken strict notice after immoral videos surfaced on social media. DIG Operations said that promoting obscenity under the name of a party or photo shoot is a serious legal offense.

He said that in no case will illegal, immoral activities be allowed, and all characters involved in the incident will be brought before the court of law.
The screening of the banned film Joyland has also been stopped, and strict action will be taken against any activity that conflicts with Islam and the country’s laws, according to a report.
