Chief of Pakistan Army, Field Marshal Asim Munir, has extended heartfelt congratulations to all Pakistanis on Independence Day, stating that he has complete confidence in the professional competence and combat readiness of the Pakistan Army, and that no sacrifice will be spared for the protection of the borders.
According to ISPR, in his special message on Independence Day, Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir paid tribute to the elders and the sacrifices of the Muslims of the subcontinent, stating that religious minorities are still playing their full role in the country’s progress and that an extremely heavy price in lives and resources has been paid to defeat terrorism.
Field Marshal Asim Munir said that he salutes the martyrs of the freedom struggle as well as the martyrs of the battle for truth, saluting their courage, bravery, determination, and faith. He stated that Pakistan fully supports the struggle of its oppressed brothers in Occupied Kashmir.
Field Marshal Asim Munir said that granting the Kashmiris their right to self-determination is the only just and sustainable solution to the issue, and urged the international community to take immediate steps to protect the rights of the Palestinians.
On Independence Day, the Field Marshal again extended heartfelt congratulations to all Pakistanis, reiterating complete confidence in the professional competence and combat readiness of the Pakistan Army, and pledging that no sacrifice will be spared for the protection of the borders.
The Army Chief said that the Indian government displayed its traditional obstinacy and attacked Pakistan’s civilian population. With the support of the nation, the armed forces responded to Indian aggression with Operation Bunyan Marsoos, which has become a symbol in history of the Pakistan Army’s bravery and spirited determination.
