On Wednesday, an increase in the price of gold was recorded in Pakistan, while the price of silver also rose with slight fluctuations in the global market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by 200 rupees, reaching 358,100 rupees. The price of 10 grams of gold of the same quality rose by 171 rupees to 307,013 rupees.
The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold increased by 157 rupees to 281,438 rupees. There was also a slight increase in the price of gold in the global market, where gold was sold at 2,354 US dollars per ounce, indicating an increase of 2 dollars.
Experts say that uncertainty in global economic conditions is still affecting the precious metals market, and investors are keeping a close watch on US economic data and geopolitical situations.
The price of silver also increased, with 24-karat silver per tola in Pakistan rising by 59 rupees to 4,072 rupees, while the price of 10 grams of silver rose by 51 rupees to 3,491 rupees.
In the global market, silver was sold at 38.39 US dollars per ounce, showing an increase of 0.59 dollars.
