On Tuesday in Pakistan, gold prices recorded a further decline, in line with the downward trend in gold rates in the international market, as reported by national media.
According to the data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs 500, bringing it down to Rs 358,300.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs 429 to Rs 307,184. The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also dropped by Rs 393, bringing it to Rs 281,595.
In the international market, the price of gold per ounce fell by $5 to $3,356. Meanwhile, silver rates remained stable in both local and international markets.
It is worth mentioning that earlier, on Monday, August 11, the first day of the business week, the effects of the drop in gold prices in the international bullion market were seen in local markets. According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola recorded a decrease of Rs 3,600.
According to the Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per ounce in the international bullion market fell by $36, bringing an ounce of gold down to $3,361.
The effects of the decline in gold prices in international markets were also observed in Pakistan, where the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs 3,600, bringing it to Rs 358,800.
