The Saudi Riyal to PKR open market rate showed stability on Friday, with the SAR to PKR today in Pakistan quoted at PKR 75.55 for buying and PKR 75.85 for selling.
In Pakistan, the foreign exchange markets operate from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., during which currency rates may fluctuate. The final exchange rate for the day is determined at 5:00 p.m., and this closing rate becomes the opening rate for all currencies on the following day.
The inflow of overseas workers’ remittances into Pakistan stood at $3.2 billion in July 2025, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) data showed on Friday.
Pakistani expatriates in Saudi Arabia sent the highest amount, totaling $823.7 million — around 8 percent higher than the $760 million sent in the same month last year.
