An unusual and shocking scene has been witnessed at the Gadani Jetty in the coastal area of Balochistan, where the seawater suddenly turned pink. This strange phenomenon surprised and worried fishermen, tourists, and nearby residents.
According to environmental experts, this change in the color of the water is the result of a combination of natural factors and pollution.
Imran Kakar, Deputy Director of the Balochistan Environmental Protection Agency, explained that the stagnant water inside the jetty became a favorable environment for the abnormal growth of microscopic organisms, due to which the color of the water changed and a strong smell spread around.
According to environmental officials, the waste, pollution, and sudden spread of microscopic life in the water have combined to turn the water pink. Given this situation, citizens have been instructed to stay away from the jetty water, so as to avoid any possible danger.
The process of testing water samples by the authorities is underway, and environmental teams are constantly assessing the situation so that the problem does not escalate further.
Locals have demanded that effective cleanup measures be taken immediately, so that the Gadani Jetty can once again become safe, attractive, and suitable for fishing.
