Pakistan’s Babar Azam has retained the second spot in ODI batting as the International Cricket Council (ICC) released new player rankings on Wednesday.
England’s Joe Root remains at number one in the ICC Test batsmen rankings, New Zealand’s Kane Williamson is second, England’s Harry Brook is third and Australia’s Steve Smith is fourth, and South Africa’s captain Temba Bavuma has moved up one place to fifth.
Sri Lanka’s Kammunda Mendis and India’s Rishabh Pant have moved up one place each to sixth and seventh, respectively. India’s Yashasvi Jaswal has dropped three places to eighth, England’s Ben Duce has jumped five places to tenth, and Pakistan’s Saud Shakeel remains at number 12.
Bowlers Ranking
India’s Jasprit Bumrah retains first place in the Test bowlers rankings, South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada is second, Australia’s Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood are third and fourth respectively, Pakistan’s Nouman Ali is in fifth position
Test All-Rounds Ranking
India’s Ravindra Jadeja retains first place in the Test All-Rounds rankings, and England’s Ben Stokes has moved up three places to third position.
One-Day Batsmen
India’s Shubman Gill retains first place and Pakistan’s Babar Azam retains second place in the ODI batsmen rankings. Sri Lanka’s Cherith Aslanka has moved up two places to sixth place, and Sri Lanka’s Kaushal Mendis has jumped ten places to tenth place.
ODI Bowlers Ranking
Sri Lanka’s Mahesh Thekshana retains the top position in the ODI bowlers ranking, Sri Lanka’s Winindu Hasaranga has jumped 11 places to reach eighth position, Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi has dropped one place to 12th position
T20 Ranking
India’s Abhishek Sharma has become the number one batsman in the T20 rankings, Australia’s Travis Head has jumped one place to second position, Pakistan’s Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have dropped one place and are at 14th and 16th positions respectively.
T20 Bowlers Ranking
New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy remains at the top position in the T20 bowlers ranking, Australia’s Nathan Ellis has jumped seven places to reach ninth position, and no Pakistani bowler is included in the top 20 of the T20 bowlers ranking.
