In the tehsil of Ali Pur in Muzaffargarh district of Punjab province, two teachers of a madrasa allegedly sexually abused 4 minor students, following which the police arrested the teachers.
According to details, the police have registered a case of sodomy against the arrested teachers involving the students. The police stated that in Ali Pur, the accused allegedly sodomized four students, aged between 11 and 12 years, over a period of two and a half months.
After enrolling the children in a madrasa in Mauza Baqar Shah for religious education, the students endured abuse by the teachers for two and a half months before informing their families about the atrocities committed against them.
A case regarding the incident has been registered at the Ali Pur Sadar police station on the complaint of the affected children’s relatives. According to police spokesperson Wasim Khan Gopang, DPO Dr. Rizwan has taken notice of the incident.
The police spokesperson stated that after the arrest of both named teachers in the case, medical examinations of the affected children and the teachers are being conducted. Further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
