A woman who had arrived at court from a shelter (Darul Aman) for a hearing was murdered by her son in the name of honor in Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the police, the son opened fire on his mother as she came for her court appearance. The woman died on the spot. The police have arrested the accused son, Romal Khan, along with the murder weapon.
The police said the woman had come from Darul Aman for a court appearance, and the accused killed his mother under the pretext of honor. The body was shifted to the hospital for legal formalities.
In Haripur, a stepmother killed an 8-year-old boy by beating him with sticks. The police arrested the accused woman and registered a case.
The tortured body of Rehan, the 8-year-old son of Ansar Hussain, a resident of Khatta neighborhood in Haripur, was recovered from the house.
According to the police, the victim Rehan was murdered by his stepmother using sticks. The victim’s father stated that his second wife had previously subjected the child to abuse as well.
The police registered a case based on the complaint of the child’s father and arrested the accused woman.
