A local court has ordered the Authority concerned to block 27 YouTube channels allegedly involved in anti-state propaganda.
Judicial Magistrate Abbas Shah issued a two-page written order after hearing a petition filed against the YouTube channels.
The order states that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had initiated an inquiry against these channels on June 2 on the basis of anti-state content. The court gave its verdict after a detailed review of the arguments of the FIA inquiry officer and the available records.
