A young man, who had contracted a love marriage, along with his uncle were shot dead by armed assailants, injuring another uncle of the deceased. The suspects fled the scene, taking the girl with them.
As per details, the incident occurred in Mohammad Khan Colony, Manghopir, where four armed suspects riding two motorcycles opened fire, killing two and injuring one.
The Crime Scene Unit has collected all relevant evidence. The shooting is believed to be an incident of so-called “honor killing.”
Police reported that the attack was carried out by four suspects on two motorcycles, resulting in the deaths of Shaman Ali and Muhammad Ishaq Hussain, while a man named Abdullah was injured.
Authorities confirmed that the bodies and the injured were transported to the hospital. Shaman had married a girl from the Jatoi tribe out of choice, prompting her relatives to open fire and abduct her from the scene.
Police have collected all forensic evidence from the site. The two deceased individuals were uncle and nephew, while the injured person is also an uncle of Shaman. Further investigation is underway.
