Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif warmly received Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as he arrived in Pakistan for his first official visit on Tuesday.
Despite the rain in Islamabad, PM Shehbaz personally held an umbrella for the esteemed guest, displaying a gesture of hospitality. Although the crown prince offered to carry it himself, the prime minister courteously declined, emphasizing his respect and warmth.
Dressed in traditional attire, two young children extended a heartfelt welcome by presenting bouquets to the visiting dignitary. The venue was adorned with the national flags of Pakistan and the UAE, while a group of children enthusiastically waved flags of both nations to greet the royal guest.
Accompanying the crown prince is a high-level delegation comprising ministers, senior officials, and influential business figures.
During his visit, the crown prince is set to engage in comprehensive discussions with Pakistan’s leadership, focusing on shared interests and strengthening economic and investment ties.
Both nations are expected to formalize multiple agreements and Memorandums of Understanding, reinforcing their longstanding collaboration across various sectors.
