Dr. Shahbaz, a postgraduate trainee at the Punjab Institute of Neurosciences, was found dead under suspicious circumstances in his rental home.
Police quickly arrived at the scene after the Dr. Shahbaz’s landlord informed them after discovering the body in his room.
Authorities gathered evidence and have sent the body for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. At the time of the incident, Dr. Shahbaz was alone; his wife and children were visiting her parents’ home.
An investigation has been initiated to uncover the circumstances surrounding his death, with police examining all possible angles. Although details are currently limited, officials have promised to provide updates as new information emerges.
Last year, a young doctor of the Lady Willingdon Hospital Lahore was found dead under mysterious circumstances in her hostel room. The deceased gynecologist, Dr Naseem Ijaz (29), hailed from Gilgit Baltistan. Her family refused to initiate legal proceedings related to her death.
