The Naran Hotels Association has announced free accommodation to the tourists stranded in the valley due to severe weather condition.
As families flock to northern areas like Murree, Kaghan, Naran, Swat, Kumrat, Gilgit, and Chitral to spend their summer vacations, the onset of the monsoon season has brought heavy rains and floods, stranding many tourists. Reports on Tuesday morning indicated that the Naran Kaghan Valley had been cut off due to heavy rains and flooding, trapping local residents and a large number of tourists.
In such emergencies, tourists often face challenges related to accommodation and food, compounded by opportunistic behaviors from locals. However, in a show of generosity, the Naran Hotels Association has announced special offers for the stranded tourists.
According to a viral statement by the association’s president, Seth Matiullah, all hotels in Naran Valley will provide free accommodation and food at a 50% discount to those affected by the adverse weather.
This compassionate gesture has garnered widespread praise on social media, with people lauding the association’s efforts to support the stranded visitors.
