In a bid to make a mark in the upcoming general elections, Waqar Zaka’s political party Technology Movement Pakistan(TMP) has formally requested the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for a unique election symbol – either a bat or a laptop.
The political party, with a focus on leveraging technology for progress, believes that these symbols aptly represent their vision for the nation.
The ECP, responsible for assigning symbols to political parties, will review the request before making a decision. Election symbols hold significant importance as they aid voters in easily identifying and differentiating between political parties on the ballot paper.
The Technology Movement Pakistan, advocating for the integration of modern technologies into various aspects of governance, sees the bat and laptop as fitting symbols to convey their commitment to innovation and progress.
