LAHORE: At least six terrorists have been arrested in Punjab during the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) operation.
According to a CTD spokesman, three terrorists have been arrested from Multan, two from Gujranwala, and one from Dera Ghazi Khan. Prima Card and Rs18,800 rupees in cash have also been recovered.
Officials said that the arrested terrorists have been identified as Liaquat, Nadeem, Inayat, Ammar, Ejaz, and Younis. Six cases have been registered against the terrorists and further investigation is ongoing.

According to officials, 24 suspects were arrested during 227 combing operations this week, and 11694 people were questioned in combing operations.
Officials added that CTD is committed to rooting out the scourge of terrorism, following the goal of a safe Punjab.
