South Korean actor Song Joong Ki starrer ‘Reborn Rich’ that aired in 2022 became one of the most viewed dramas.
According to the Korean media outlet, when it aired, every episode of JTBC’s Friday-Saturday drama ‘Reborn Rich’ garnered a lot of attention for receiving a lot of love from viewers.
Now will there be a second season of JTBC’s hit drama series? Well, according to a representative of JTBC on June 1 KST, “As many viewers are anticipating a second season of ‘Reborn Rich’, the production staff is currently considering various options. However, no specific plans have made it to table as of yet.”
Initial reports suggested that a ‘Reborn Rich’ prequel focusing on the past of Jin Yang Cheol, played by actor Lee Sung Min in the original, is in the planning stage. Soon after, it was said that the VFX team of the show responded to the reports denying any confirmation and saying that nothing was official yet.

Insiders claim that the novel writer of ‘Youngest Son of the Conglomerate’ which is the inspiration for the K-drama is involved in the discussions about the prequel. Meanwhile, there are talks of the original drama’s writer and director being changed for the prequel.

In the newly released poster for the upcoming drama, Jin Do Joon hides his thirst for vengeance as he poses for a father-son photo with Jin Yang Chul, the ruthless and endlessly greedy head of Sunyang Group (played by Lee Sung Min).
