Elon Musk said during a presentation on behalf of the startup in December that NeuralLink implants aim to enable human brains to communicate directly with computers.
“We are working hard to prepare our first human [implant],” he said at the time, “and obviously we want to be very careful before putting the device in a human that it will work well.”
