There is a concept of manifestation that if a person has true dedication and research, then no weakness or neediness will hinder his path. A shining example of this concept is Muhammad Rashid, a blind mechanic from Karachi.
Residing in the Malir region, despite his blindness, Mohammad Rashid has been repairing sewing machines in the Malir Liaquat market for the past 30 years and people are impressed by his ability.
In a special conversation with MM News, Mohammad Rashid said that he was not born blind but lost his vision due to a childhood disease. Since he belonged to a middle-class family, his parents could not treat him well.
Muhammad Rashid’s father used to repair sewing machines from the beginning and he trained his son in this work. In the beginning, Muhammad Rashid faced many difficulties in this work, sometimes his hands were badly injured. But he did not lose heart and today he has become a complete expert in this work.
Mohammad Rashid said that he can repair any type of sewing machine easily, people from other cities also bring sewing machines to him for repair, and since there is now the age of the internet, now some people do it by bike as they send sewing machines.
In the end, while addressing the people, he said that a person should never be a victim of despair, but should always keep his morale high.
