If relief granted to Imran, judges’ house could be next to burn, Marriyum

Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Thursthat if relief was granted to Imran Khan, judges’ house could be next to burn.

“I’m predicting, go ahead and rule against this (arrest of Imran Khan), no one’s house will be safe,” Aurangzeb said in an aggressive press conference, right after the Supreme Court ordered that Imran Khan should be presented in court within an hour.

She said that if the chief justice was concerned about the honour of the court being violated, he should have acted when court’s orders to arest Imran Khan were being violated.

“When courts become sanctuaries of criminals, they will be arrested from the court.” she said.
