RAWALPINDI: The Chief of Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rashid has criticized the government and opposition in a series of tweets, citing concerns over the state of negotiations, confusion over talks with the PML-N, and the falling apart of the PDM.
He also questioned why Nawaz Sharif has not returned to Pakistan despite being a former Prime Minister and his brother (Shehbaz Sharif) running the government, and called for an investigation into allegations of embezzlement in the flour distribution scheme.
In another tweet, he stated that the Awqaf Department has fixed the case of Lal Haveli in Lahore on an emergency basis, and that he has already predicted that May is important, with the results to be out by May 10th.

Furthermore, Sheikh Rashid alleged that state agencies have now realized that the problem is not about politics but the incompetence of the present government has become evident in every sector. He also claimed that the IMF and friendly countries have not extended a helping hand, and that all the conditions imposed by the IMF have been borne by the poor people with zero results.
In addition, Sheikh Rashid said that it’s time to decide on whose order armored vehicles are breaking the doors of houses, implying a reference to the government’s crackdown on opposition leaders.
The AML Chief also accused the government of targeting the judiciary under an organized conspiracy and predicted that the judiciary will win and the constitution and law will prevail.

Commenting on the recent memo leaks of Hina Rabbani Khar, Sheikh Rashid criticized the foreign policy direction of the government, stating that Bilawal is talking about the West’s policy, while Hina Rabbani is talking about the East’s.
