KARACHI: According to a latest survey conducted by Gallup, 91 percent of Pakistanis are upset due to the increase in prices of commodities. The survey found that 9 out of every 10 Pakistanis are worried about the rising prices of daily commodities, which has disrupted their monthly budget.

An earlier survey report revealed that in an earlier Inflation Perception Survey, 71% of the respondents ranked political instability as the top factor impacting inflation, followed by 45% citing increased repayments of foreign debt, 44% marked declining exports, 34% mentioned a decrease in remittance, and 30% identified rising imports as factors affecting the reserves.
Gallup conducted the survey by asking questions to 1100 people from across the country. The report states that 7% of respondents gave opposing opinions and said there is no problem, while 2% did not give their opinions on the question.

The survey results indicate that the rising prices of daily commodities have become a significant concern for most Pakistanis, and they find it difficult to meet their monthly expenses.
