Aima Baig, who is now one of the most successful singers in Pakistan, went through a difficult phase health-wise and did not talk about it before.
In a podcast, Baig revealed that she was actually offered the role opposite Shahveer Jafry in Barwaan Khiladi which she had to leave last minute because of her health condition. At the time only told producer Mahira Khan who was gracious enough to understand her situation.

Aima revealed that she was suffering from arthritis and her foot was swollen and she was in a lot of pain. She was in a wheelchair for 6 months. This happened while she was on a tour performing in Punjab.
She said that she was not comfortable with telling everyone that she was suffering from arthritis and kept it to herself. She got treated by a doctor in New York City and now she is doing fine.
