Can AI ruin the world?

A lot of constructive work is being done by artificial intelligence, especially by ChatGPT, Daily and Microsoft Azure, but a section of scientists is still against it.

For example, Bill Gates, the co-founder of Microsoft, Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter, and the late scientist Stephen Hawking also called the use of AI dangerous for the human race.

The question is, does artificial intelligence really pose a threat to humanity? If this is true, what are the factors under which artificial intelligence can destroy humanity? Let’s examine all the facts.

Unexpected results

It is important to remember that artificial intelligence software or language models such as ChatGPT can sometimes make unpredictable and worrisome decisions, the consequences of which can be difficult to control and even dangerous.

Destruction of jobs

When AI starts working in place of human and results become better and faster than human work, factory owners and various industrialists start laying off employees to save their money. This is a major disadvantage of AI that could lead to a storm of unemployment.

Inequality

Even today, there is a mafia in different countries of the world and at the international level as well, which has access to certain data so much that common people cannot even think about it. Today artificial intelligence has also come into the hands of this mafia whose losses humanity may have to bear sooner or later in the form of inequality and strange class divisions.

Prejudice and injustice

When this mafia starts using artificial intelligence openly for its own interests, it can be so easy to cause prejudice and injustice in any region of the world which could not be imagined before.

Automatic weapons

Robots can be used as weapons in wars. In this case, robots controlled by artificial intelligence can make any decision during the war that can have disastrous results, even start a new or global war in the affected region.

Lack of accountability

When the entire system is handed over to machines, there will be a huge lack of accountability because artificial intelligence can make wrong decisions, but holding someone responsible for it can be extremely difficult and even impossible. It will be a system in which there will be destruction and destruction, but no one will be responsible for it, no one will be caught, and no one will be punished.

Hacking from dangerous to deadly

Protecting any system from hackers is very important. Once  hackers gain control of an AI system, they can easily gain access to sensitive information and disrupt critical infrastructure. Since humans have entrusted a large part of their lives to AI, after all of them come under the control of hackers, hacking, which is proving to be dangerous in today’s era, will go to the level of lethality.

What is the solution to the problems?

Undoubtedly, artificial intelligence can pose great threats to the world of humanity, but until a problem is revealed, its solution cannot be found.

If we take the example of ChetGPT, the suspicion that it will kill jobs is also very valid. However, if man prepares himself for the challenges of the coming era, when one job ends, another one will be created.
