‘Prove it in court’: Iffat Omar responds to Ali Zafar’s tweets

It seems like Ali Zafar has made Iffat Omar angry after his direct tweet towards her in which he clearly said that she is found guilty in the defamation case filed against Meesha Shafi.

The fuss between the two began when Ali Zafar announced the news in a tweet about how Meesha Shafi admitted giving a false statement against him in the ongoing defamation case.

In the same tweet, Zafar mentioned Omar and said that it has come to his knowledge that Iffat Omar who was ‘found guilty’ in the FIA’s report for smear against him admitted to harassing an older colleague.

According to Zafar, Omar has also been calling up publications not to post court proceedings and organisers not to hire him.   As per Ali Zafar, he has been quiet for almost 5 years for Iffat Omar’s uncalled uncivil behaviour, bullying, and harassment tactics.

It has come to my knowledge that Ms @OmarIffat who was “found guilty” in the FIA’s report for smear against me and is on camera admitting harassing an older colleague, has been calling up publications not to post court proceedings and organisers not to hire me. Enough is enough.

“It seems like you have nothing better to do in life than to slander and bully people and talk utter nonsense. But times have changed,” he tweeted by adding, “Bullies will no longer be given any space to intimidate others specially journalists and cause such social negativity.” Ali expressed anger and recalled how Omar caused distress to the women in his family.

Now, in response, outraged Iffat Omar responded to Zafar’s tweet and asked hi he will stop lying. “What bloody campaign against you? Who the hell you even are? Prove it in court loser and yes enough is enough,” she tweeted.

will you stop lying ??? What bloody campaign against u? Who the hell you even are? Prove it in courts loser and yes enough is enough. https://t.co/jiCQ34bo7W
